Michael Keith Kneeland was born September 29, 1954, to the late Alphonso Kneeland and Willie Mae Bryant in Greenville, MS. He was the fourth child of five born to this union.
Michael Keith Kneeland confessed hope in Christ at an early age.
Michael Keith Kneeland graduated from Greenville High School in 1974. After graduation, he married Sandra Diane Haygood. He went into the Air Force in 1974 and was honorably discharged in 1979. He graduated with an Associate Degree in Air Training Command. He became a member of Church at Christ once he was discharged.
Michael Keith Kneeland was a fun person to be around. He was funny, outgoing, and outspoken. He loved to dance, listen to music, and stayed in the mirror-like Morris Day of the Time. He loved sports and had many business adventures. He was a die-hard fan of the Dallas Cowboys and even worked as an usher at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium. Even though he loved his Dallas Cowboys, his favorite color was red.
On September 28, 2021, the Lord called him home after a long battle with prostate cancer at the Memphis VA Medical Center. He fought a good battle and accepted the Lord’s call to enter the Gates of Heaven.
Michael Keith Kneeland was preceded in death by his father, Alphonso Kneeland; Mother, Willie Mae Bryant; sister, Terry House; brother, Darryl Bryant; and grandson, Deandre Norman. Michael Keith Kneeland was loved and cherished by his family leaving them with fond and precious memories.
He is survived by his daughter, Kishaun King of Akron, OH; two sons Dwayne Antonio Norman of Kenosha, WI; and Michael Kneeland II of Dallas, TX.; Five brothers, Alphonso Kneeland ll (Christine Kneeland) of Baldwyn, MS; Glenn Kneeland of Greenville, MS; Gerold Kneeland of Dallas, Texas; Jeffrey Kneeland of Memphis, TN; Earnest Bryant of Oregon City, Oregon; and John Bryant of Greenville, MS; one sister, Helga Bryant of Memphis, TN; four grandchildren, Sandra, Tristian, Trayvon, and Kayla; one great-grandchild, Londyn; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
